Let the angles of the parallelogram be Angle A, Angle B, Angle C and Angle D, where the adjacent pair of angles are A and B, B and C, C and D, D and A.
The sum of the internal angles of a parallelogram is always 360.
So,A+B+C+D=360
It is given that the adjacent pairs are all equal. Let their measurement be x. Since we have seen that all the angles are adjacent to each other, they all have a value of x.
Substituting x in the above equation,
x+x+x+x=360
4x=360
x=90

One of the properties of a rectangle is that its sides are always parallel and its angles always measure 90. Since a parallelogram's sides are always parallel and we just proved that its angles are 90 each, we have proved that if a parallelogram has its adjacent pair of angles equal, then it is a rectangle.
