here's a question i'd love to answer. i am a poet myself and given below is my first poem which I wrote in my second grade (I know it's a little too kiddish but if u want for complex poetry and prose by me, check this out

Explanation:

THE SPOOKY HOUSE

I bought a house in the middle

of the trees,

But when I opened the front door

I found a bunch of keys.

I tried all the doors and unlocked

All the locks,

But all I found was a box of

Building blocks.

I thought, and I thought and sat

On a mat,

But I heard a squeaky old sound

(which I thought was)from a squeaky old rat.

I looked, and I looked to find

The rat,

But all in vain I had to call in

my cat.

I looked upstairs, and I looked

downstairs,

But when I asked my neighbours,

nobody cares!

And then that night I saw

A Ghost.

(But he was not a scary Ghost.

He was a Ghost who loved to Boast.

The very next day I packed

my bags,

And sold the house to a man

In rags.
