Can you explain how valves in viens are not important as valves make blood to flow in one direction

valves in the veins are surely important, if there wont be valves, the blood will flow back. then it cannot go upstream and wont reach to the heart from the organs. marking a full stop on the circulatory system. Lately valves were considered function-less and vestigial but now they are out of list of vestigial organs
