Computer programs are simply instructions which have the ablity to communicate the user and the computer hardware acting as intimidators between them. they are user friendly and support the user to operate on.

• Device Drivers
• Language Processors (Assemblers, Interpreters, & Compilers)
• Utilities

Application Software can be classified Into :

• General-purpose Software (Word, Power-point, Excel, Coral-draw, Windows Media Player etc....)
• Specific-purpose Software (BusyWin, Tally, Attendance Systems, Billing Systems etc...)
• Customized Softwares
