can you explain me the term Hypotonic, hypertonic and isotonic!!!!plzzzzzz give the answer fast❤❤❤​

  1. if the medium surrounding the cell has a higher water concentration than the cell, meaning that the outside solution is very dilute the cell will get water by Osmosis. Such a solution is known as hypertonic solution.
  2. if the medium has exactly the same water concentration is the cell, there will be no net movement of water across the cell membrane. Such a solution is known as isotonic solution.
  3. if the medium has a lower concentration of water than the cell, meaning that it is very concentrated solution the cell will lose water by Osmosis. Such a solution is known as hypertonic solution.

Hypotonic solution is a type of solution which has more concentration of water outside the cell as comparared to inside,due to which water moves into cells and which results in swelling of cell
Hypertonic solution is a type of solution which has more concentration of water inside as compared to outside ,due to which cell shrinks
Isotonic solution is a type of solution in which concentration of water is equal on both side , outside as well as inside
