given \: {8x}^{2} - 4x = 0 \\ = > 2x(4x - 2) = 0 \\ \\ by \: zero \: product \: rule \: either \\ \: 2x = 0 \: or \: 2x - 4 = 0 \\ \\ \\ 2x = 0 \\so \: x = 0 \\ \\ and \\ 4x - 2= 0 \: so \: x \: = 2
