-5^4 ÷ -5^2=-5^n -5^4-2=-5^n -5^2=-5^n As the bases are Same we will compare the powers. So  N=2

so see

we know that if bases are same in division then we have to subtract powers

-5^4 / -5^2= 5^n

4-2 is 2

but since there is minus in both places in division it gets cut

so base becomes just 5

5^2 is your answer there fore n=2
