Answer:
1. There are two processes which lead to formation of different landforms. These processes are; internal process and external process. Internal Process: The earth beneath your feet is continuously moving. The movement of earth's surface results in internal process.
2. While physical weathering breaks down a rock's physical structure, chemical weathering alters a rock's chemical composition. Physical weathering works with mechanical forces, such as friction and impact, while chemical weathering takes place at the molecular level with the exchange of ions and cations.
3 . Mountains, hills, plateaus, and plains are the four major types of landforms. Minor landforms include buttes, canyons, valleys, and basins. Tectonic plate movement under the Earth can create landforms by pushing up mountains and hills.
4 . (Weathering) is the breaking down or dissolving of rocks and minerals on Earths surface. Once a rock has been broken down, a process called erosion transports the bits of rock and minerals away.
( erosion) In earth science, erosion is the action of surface processes that removes soil, rock, or dissolved material from one location on the Earth's crust, and then transports it to another location.
(plateaus) a large high area of flat land.
(plain) In geography, a plain is a flat, sweeping landmass that generally does not change much in elevation. Plains occur as lowlands along valleys or on the doorsteps of mountains, as coastal plains, and as plateaus or uplands.
