Step 1: Graph of y=3x²

it is an upward parabola having vertex at (0,0)

We can plot it from values also.

put x=0

so, y=0

(0,0)

put x=1

y=3

(1,3)

put x=-1

y=3

(-1,3)

put x=2

y=12

(2,12)

put x=-2

y=12

(-2,12)

Mark these points on graph and join to plot y=3x²

This graph is same as y=3x² but shifted 3 points downward on y-axis.
