Misunderstandings are-

1. Misunderstandings occur when there is a lack of effective communication. Noise in communication channels, wrong selection of the words and tone used in the message, and proper construction and arrangement of the message are major causes that lead to misunderstandings between the sender and receiver. Misunderstandings mostly occur in a one-to-one conversation.

2. A misunderstanding can lead to future conflicts. A misinterpretation of a message can lead to a lot of problems.

3. Two different opinions, viewpoints, and perspectives can also give birth to misunderstands. It is distinctive from mistakes because mistakes are genuine errors and misunderstandings are mostly lack decoding of the actual words said.

4. Examples of misunderstandings are - an argument between a couple about a tone of a text message, or a quarrel between two people about a time of an meeting which was ill conducted in the phone call.
