Violence refers to an act that causes physical damage to the individual. Everyday number of people face violence like -

• Domestic violence - Violence by people over their partners which include beating due to money problems, anger issues or due to alcohol is a common problem, which remains unattended. The number of cases of domestic violence has increased a lot during the lockdown.

• Mob lynching over political or religious issues seems common since past few months. With a group of people beating a single person, a large number of them roam freely rather than being arrested.
