The sepal is a part of the flower which works as a protection for the flower in the bud and insects and it also supports the petals when they are blooming.

The sepal is often green and small and the high quantity of sepals means the flower is nutritious.

And the plant in which the sepals remain attached is the BRINJAL it remains attached until it is used.

The sepal acts as a protection for the flowers from the insects and bugs especially at the time of when the flowers are growing. The higher the sepal the more healthy the flower is. Brinjal's plant has the highest sepals present in it and they remain in the plant only till it is taken out of the ground.
