Can you please explain how to do factorisation.... its urgent i have my exam on 21st september

Its very easy.. Take an example we have equation: ax^2+bx+c= 0 U have to first multiply coefficient of x^2 and x^0 ( number at last without x) Means a*c.... Now u have to think two numbers whose sum or difference is = b (with sign) and whose multiplication is = a*c .... For example: x^-5x+6=0 => we are having a= 1,b=-5,c=6, Now we have to take two numbers whose sum or difference is -5 and whose product is 6.. This is the only thin u have to think Here we can take -2 and -3 bcz -2+(-3)= -5 and -2*-3= 6 => x^2-5x+6 can be written as => x^2-3x-2x+6 = x(x-3)-2(x-3) = (x-3)(x-2) These are two factors
