Can you see a spectrum if a ray of monochromatic light falls on a prism?

yes you can see a spectrum. When monochromatic light falls on a prism it gets refracted and due to different wavelengths they spread as polychromatic light beams and the bend according to their wave length. ex: red colour deviates the least because it has maximum wavelength.
