Can you solve this using elimination method. Thanks. And can you give it a step by step explanation so i can understand. :D
y=2x-1
2x=3y+2

y=2x+3
y=x-1

3x+y=1
-3x+2y=1

x-5y=1
2x-3y=5

4x-3y=2
3x-4y=4

Answer:

HELLO MATE.....A VERY GOOD MORNING TO YOU...

1).

y = 2x - 1. - 2x + y = -1 --------->eq. 1

2x = 3y + 2. 2x - 3y = 2 --------->eq. 2

adding eq. 1 and eq. 2,

- 2x + y = - 1

2x - 3y = 2

-----------------

0 - 2y = 1

y = - 1/2

and x....

subs. y in in eq. 2..

2x = -3/2 + 2

2x = 1/2

x = 1...

-----------------------------------------------

2).

y = 2x + 3.......eq. 1

y = x - 1...........eq. 2

subtracting eq. 2 from eq. 1....

x = 4

therefore y = 3.....

------------------------------------------------

3).

3x + y = 1.....eq. 1

-3x + 2y = 1..eq. 2

add 1 and 2

3y = 2

y = 2/3

and...

x = 1/9

--------------------------------------------------

4).

x - 5y = 1......eq. 1

2x - 3y = 5...eq. 2

multiply 1 by 2 and subtract 2 from 1

-7y = - 3

y = 3/7

x = 26/14

--------------------------------------------------

5).

4x - 3y = 2.......eq. 1

3x - 4y =4........eq. 2

multiply eq. 1 by 3 and eq. 2 by 4 and subtract the results..

y = 0

x = 1/2

---------------------------------------------------

HAVE A NICE DAY...

HOPE IT HELPS YOU..
