I was told that my only brother (almost 4 years older) was in fact my half-brother, when I was about 12.

All my immediate family members(father, mother, half-brother, me) were born somewhere in Oklahoma.

Dad joined the Navy and served in the Korean War, on a ship stationed in Japan.

Dad started attending O.U. after marrying Mom.

I am told that I was not planned on.

I was born 10 months and a few days after their marriage.

Dad graduated, and in the years following, the family moved to Colorado, Texas, New Mexico, back to Oklahoma, California, and London, UK, where I spend my senior year of high school.

I applied to three universities, and was wait-listed then accepted by two of them.

I wound up going to the one that offered the best financial package in Pasadena, California.

Meanwhile, my parents continued to move around, based on the requirements of Dad's job, to places including Northern Ireland, Oman, Singapore, Jakarta, United Arab Emirates, and Venezuela.
