Our somatic nervous system gives signal to our skeletal muscle to contract. These muscles have the ability to contract. When our muscles contract (generates pressure) to lift/push any object, it uses energy in form of ATP ( Adenosine tri phosphate).

So answer to your simple question: Pressure is build up in muscles.

The circulatory system

Explanation:

  • The pressure refers to the physical force applied to an object per unit area. The generation of pressure plays an important role in higher organisms, especially in plants and animals.
  • The role of pressure in the human body can be easily observed in many biological systems like in the circulatory system, skeletal system and the excretory system.
  • The buildup of pressure in the heart allows the pumping of the blood to the body due to the generation of autonomic signals which causes contraction and relaxation of cardiac cells.
  • Thus, the circulatory system is the correct answer.
