Pondicherry, where the French East India Company had imposed the people to learn French.

Conquerors always played the master stroke and the tactful game of controlling the people or the countries that were enslaved or colonised by the means of their language. They always changed their language and took control over their language by over-throwing that one and forcing people to introduce the new language.

Language is the significant and most important source of expression, communication, integrity and unity and they targeted it to enslave their minds, communication, and mode of integrity that could keep them together.

To count on example- Romans who conquered parts of Europe threw over the local vernacular languages and gave roots to Latin to those places. The Muslim conquerors imposed Persian and Arabian in those places.
