when the cell undergoes Mitosis karyokinesis is the first step and cytokinesis is II but sometime during mitosis the the step stops after karyokinesis that means only the nucleus division takes place and cytokinesis doesn't which results in the formation of binucleated cell and sometimes we can also see polynucleate because of same reason and its example is tapetal cells
