No, because copper does no burn or glow when electric current is passed through it.Only tungsten give off light when electric current is passed through it.

we cannot use copper wire because it's resistance is lower than the material which is really use in making filament .i.e alloy due to it's high resistance

no, because copper has a high melting point, and it does not glow on passing electric current as it is a good conductor of electricity so if it is used to make filament of bulb, the bulb will not glow
