As Na+ has 10electrons and K has tendency to have only 2electron and L have 8electrons so Na+ has completely filled shell K and L

Because sodium has atomic number of 11. K shell can hold 2 electrons,L shell can hold 8 electrons.still 1 is left it is located in m shell.without filling k and l shells we cannot go to m shell
