Set of rational numbers can not be written in roster form

Step-by-step explanation:

Set is roster form : List all the elements of set

Roster form can not be used for Infinite set.

Also Roster form is not  advisable if number of elements is quite high

Set builder form of set is a rule based approach.

Rational numbers are the real numbers which can be written in the form p/q where p,q are integers and q≠ 0.

Rational numbers are infinite

Hence can not be written in roster form

However in set builder form :

Q = { p/q  :  p , q ∈ Z  , q ≠ 0 }

Q Represents set of rational numbers

Z represent set of integers

Hence Set of rational numbers can not be written in roster form
