First we have to understand the rules

1. Use BODMAS rule
2. Also when a number is marked ( when it is underlined from above) ,we have to start calculating it first.
3. First solve this bracket ( ), then { } and then [ ].
4. Always remember to solve the bracket first and then the other ones , for example -solve (-34-16-14) first and then 5+3 according to the sum

Using these rules you will be able to do all the sums which are difficult and it will be easier.
