Answer:

An exhaust fan motor is small and usually balanced, so it doesn't require a starting capacitor to start spinning, just turn on the electricity.

But in, Fans have single phase induction motor so they require capacitor to get a rotating field as they are not self starting .

Answer:

There are electric fans everywhere. They are utilized in our homes, workplaces, factories, automobiles, computers, trains, and other places.to move air around and cool the room (or an area or surface). There are three kinds of electric fans, one for each type of power supply:

A/C Fans: The AC mains power supply powers these fans. This category encompasses the majority of electric fans, including the main item discussed in this article, the Ceiling Fan.

DC Powers: Either a battery or a regulated DC Power Supply powers these fans .DC fans are utilized in portable and computer fans. Because AC fans are simple to construct and use, they are rarely used as mainstream fans in today's world.

DC and AC fans :Last but not least, we have the AC/DC Fans, which are able to function with either DC or AC power supplies. As a result, these fans are occasionally referred to as Universal Fans.

The ceiling fan: It is the most widely used fan in our homes for air circulation and room cooling. I

Exhaust Fan: It is used to remove smoke, fumes, and hot air from a room. They are usually put in kitchens, bathrooms, garages, and other places. Exhaust fans, in contrast to pedestal and table fans, are stationary and do not oscillate.
