Capacity of a parallel capacitor with dielectric constant 5
is 40uF. Calculate the capacity of the same capacitor when
dielectric material is removed.​

C' = 40 uF ( Since dielectric is present)

When dielectric is removed, capacitance reduces by a factor of k

C = C' / k

= 40uF / 5
