Car A of mass 1500 kg traveling at 25m/s collides with another car B
of mass 100 kg traveling at 15m/s in the same direction. After collision, the
velocity of car A becomes 20m/s. Calculate the velocity of car B after
collision?

Answer:

It is 90m/s

This problem can be solved using the law of conservation of momentum.

Total momentum of the system before collision = Total momentum of the system after collision

(Momentum = mass Х velocity)
