Car is accelerating with acceleration
= 20 m/s2. A box of mass m = 10 kg
that is placed inside the car, it is put in
contact with the vertical wall of car as

Mass of the box m=10 Kg

Friction coefficient μ=0.6

To find:

The net force acting on the wall.

Solution:

Formula of force is F=ma

F=10×20

F=200 N

The upward force is greater than the downward force

Mg=100 N

200>100

Therefore we need the net force.

Now calculating the net force

Fn=\sqrt{100^{2}+ 200^{2}  }

Fn=100\sqrt{5} N

So, the net force between the wall of the car and box is 100\sqrt{5} N
