We know that average speed = \frac{Total Distance}{Total .Time}

Now here Speed and Distance is given and we need time.

SO we know that v =\frac{s}{t}   => t = \frac{s}{v}

Now time in first case = 10/5 = 2 sec

In second case = 20/10 = 2 sec

Thus average speed = \frac{10+20}{2+2} = \frac{30}{4} = 7.5 m/s
