It's false:
Haemoglobin carries both oxygen and carbon dioxide.
When it combines with oxygen it forms oxyhaemoglobin and when it combines with carbon dioxide it forms carboxyhaemoglobin.
when we breath out, hemoglobin temporary combines with carbon dioxide and and it removes from our body.
