carbon dioxide make a blanket on earth but why it makes a blanket why other gases could not make a blanket.....how carbon dioxide is different from other gases.......why it does not allow ultra violet rays of the sun to ga back ?

The blanket is of ozone not carbondioxide ...
ozone stops ultraviolet rays

carbondioxide is a green house gas which has a ability of collection or collecting with each other the green house gases comes together and produce a dence layer of gases which traped the sun light and reflect it towards the earth..

why not nitrogen dioxide
why not sulphur dioxide
but why it is greenhouse effect
so because of its heaviness
