Carbon-monoxide in coal gas have total percentage of 4 - 15 .

This CO is a very poisonous gas. When inhaled it combines haemoglobin. As a result, haemoglobin loses its oxygen-carrying capacity.

Hence, option " d " is correct about CO.

This inhalation of CO may even causes death due to suffocation.
