1 find sample space

s=( 2,3,4......101)

n(s)=100

1 event is even no ie event A

A =(2,4,6....8)

N(A) = 50

P(A)=N(A)

  • N(S)
  • =50÷100
  • =1/2
  • EVENT B IS TO FIND PROBABILITY OF NUMBER LESS THAN 14

B = (2,3,4,......13)

N(B)=12

P(B)=N(B)

        N(S)

      =12÷ 100

       =3/25

  • EVENT C IS DEPICTING A SET OF PERFECT SQUARE NUMBERS

C= ( 4,9,16,25,36,49,64,81,100)

N(C) =9

P(C)= N(C)

         N(S)

       =9/100

  • EVENT D SHOWS PRIME NO LESS THAN 20

D= ( 2,3,5,7,11,13,17,19)

N(D)= 8

P( D ) = N(D)

           N(S)

      =  8/100

       =2/25
