Answer:

1- option (c) , 2 - option (b) , 3- option (a) , 4 - option (d) and

5- option (d)

Step-by-step explanation:

Explanation:

Given , in a bag there are 1,2,3 ..... 100 numbers on cards and no number is repeated .A card is drawn at random from the bag .

Step1:

Total no. of odd numbers between 1-100 is 50

Let A be the event of odd numbers

So , the probability of odd number  P(A) = \frac{50}{100} = 0.5

Step2:

Let B be the event of two digit odd numbers

Total no. of two digit odd number between 1- 100  = 45

So , the probability of two digit odd number P(B) = \frac{45}{100} = 0.45

Step3:

Total no. of odd number which is multiple of 11 between 1- 100  is

(11,33,55,77,99) = 5

Now , the probability of odd number which is multiple of 11 = \frac{5}{100} = 0.05

Step4:

Total no. of  odd numbers which is not less than 70 are

(71,73,75,77,79,81,83,85,87,89,91,93,95,97,99) = 15

Probability of odd number less than 70 = \frac{15}{100} = 0.15

Step5:

We have total of 50 odd number between 1 - 100

and 5 odd number which is multiple of 11 that is (11,33,55,77,99)

Now the total odd number which is not multiple of 11 = 50 - 5 = 45

∴Probability of odd no. not multiple of 11 = \frac{45}{100} = 0.45

Final answer :

Hence , for 1) probability that card taken out has a odd number is  0.50

                   2) probability of two digit odd number is 0.45

                 3) probability of a odd number which is multiple of 11 is 0.5

               4)  probability of odd no. which is not less than 70 is 0.15

                5) probability of odd no. not multiple of 11 is 0.45
