Hi friend!!
Let the age of Peter be x.
Given, Carlos is 5 years younger than Peter.
→Age of Carlos=x-5
After 4 years, Peter's age is x+4
Carlos age will be x-5+4=x-1
It is also given that Peter will be twice as old as Carlos.
x+4=2(x-1)
x+4=2x-2
x=6.
So, the present age of Peter is 6 years old and Carlos is 1 year old.
I hope this will help you ;)

Hey mate here's your answer......
Let the age of Carlos be x - 5
After 4 years...
Peter's age x + 4
Carlos age will be x-5 +4= x -1
x + 4 = 2(x-1)
x+4 = 2x -2
x = 6.
So Peter is 6 And Carlos is 1.
Hope it helps ☺️
