Corrected statement:-Carnivorous occupy the third trophic level in the food chain.
Justification:-Plants are the producers of an ecosystem as they occupies first trophic level.
Herbivores animals obtain their nutrients from them. They occupies second trophic level.
Carnivorous animals feed upon these herbivores animals. Therefore, they occupies third trophic level.
