we know umbrella contains metal rods and metals r good conductor of electricity...and lightning is electrically charged so the lighting can get attracted to the metal rod of the umbrella...so it is not safe to carry umbrellas

Answer: Carrying an umbrella during a thunderstorm is not safe.

Explanation:

The reason is that when a person carries an umbrella, he probably becomes a person the tallest in his area. And the chances of getting hit by the lightening increases insanely.

The rod of the umbrella is of metal and the person carrying it will get an electric shock as the current from the rod to the body of person holding it.
