Belgium was a country in which Dutch Germans and French people lived . This country followed accommodation in Belgium there were equal number of representatives of both the community in the Belgium government and a seperate government was formed for Brussels.

Whereas in Srilanka sinhales was the majority group and there the majoritarian policy was adopted and Sinhalese were given the rights. Which lead to civil war in Srilanka. Because the Tamils were thinking that the government is not seeing ther interests.

hope it will be suitable for your question.

answer:- i) Belgium used the system of power sharing while Sri Lanka uses the system of majoritarianism.

(ii) The French and Dutch were power holders equally in Belgium while the Sinhalese majority took control in Sri Lanka.

(iii) Belgium has been able to combat ethnic war while Sri Lanka is still suffering from ethnic discrimination.

Explanation:-belgium follows power sharing and giving rights to all but sri lanka follows the rule of more member in a group they have also face discriminations a lot and does civil war (main reason is that power gives not equally to all )
