Chauhan and Pande (2010) studied noise pollution at different zones of Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. They argued that the exposure to high level of noise may cause severe stress on the auditory and nervous system. Transportation and horn used in vehicles are the major sources of noise pollution in Dehradun City.
