people believe their caste or religion to be the best there is. due to this they are not open minded to the people of other castes and religions. in the older times, the warrior class was the top class and the dalits were considered the Low class. they were made to live on the edge of the village and were not allowed to drink water from the same well. this system of caste is unfair and thus it is not practiced anymore. our country is a democratic country and the caste system does not see everyone as equals.
