In lower caste communities they also have no electric power, sanitation and water pumps. They are restricted to certain occupations such as medical & housing services than the upper castes. They are restricted to certain occupations like plantation work, sanitation work, cleaning streets, leather works, etc. They are subjected to exploitation in the name of debt, tradition, etc., to work as labourers or perform menial tasks for generations together.
Measures to Abolish Caste System
- One of the govt's immediate measures to uphold the nation 's stability and diversity is to firmly condemn the so-called vigilante groups for its crimes against Dalits & religious minorities. To this day, bank voting has forced different parties, instead of coping with this social threat, to look the other way.
- The State must take immediate steps to stop the flare of the caste systems theoretically create rapid courts for immediate justice for victims; (a) accelerate the 'ability growth' program so that the disproportionate Group can acquire alternative capabilities; and finally (c) abolish the reservation policy which has enabled society to divide along the castle lines, and extend finally.
