Yes! I agree.

While choosing candidates parties keep in mind the caste composition of the electorate.

Political parties and candidates takes necessary support from caste sentiments.

They nominate candidates from different caste groups so as to muster necessary support.

Some candidates seen as representatives of particular castes.

Hey mate!

Your answer:

politics in caste:

the caste system in India can also become politicized in following ways:

1. when a particular caste tries to gain prominence by adding many neighboring caste nd sub caste which where earlier not included.

2. the caste system also becomes politicized when caste groups are required to enter into a coalition with other caste.

It is to be noticed that many caste system is itself not healthy for any democracy. it mostly produces negative results.

It has resulted in the vicious circle of poverty, unemployment nd illiteracy for many caste.

Caste in politics:

The caste system always does not play a role in shaping politics or deciding the candidates from a constituency.

This is due to the following reasons:

1. Not every constituency in the country has a clear majority of one single caste. there fore, every party is required to win the trust of the people belonging to different caste.

2. No politic party wins all the votes of a particular favored caste or community.

3. Because several political parties fight election, they may be many candidates from the same caste fighting elections against each other.

Hope it helps uh...❤

nd sorry for being late...
