Categories the cells on the basis of presence and absence of nuclear membrane? from 9th class book.

Hey there!

Cells can be categorised into two types on the basis of presence or absence of nuclear membrane:-

1 Prokaryotic cell: pro(primitive)+ karyon(nucleus) which means the nucleus is not so well developed and lacks nuclear membrane and hence it is called nucleoid.

2 Eukaryotic cell: Eu(true) +karyon(nucleus) which means well developed nucleus which is surrounded by a nuclear membrane.
