Cause of flow of peninsular rivers

due to getting water from melting of ice and receiving rain

the major peninsular rivers in India are the Narmada ,Tapi,the Krishna ,kaveri ,godavari and Mahanadi. the courses of these rivers are smaller when compared to Himalayan rivers . these are not perennial.
