acid rain is formed by acids so it is very harmful for the aquatic life and it also corredes metal ,it is harmful for monuments like Taj Mahal ,that is also harmful for aquatic life because acid rain makes a layer on the surface of water from which plants and animals living in that water unable to get sunlight, and also lower the fertility of the soil and affects the agricultural productivity

due to the pollution effects in air,NO2 and SO2 these are the main causes of acid rain as they get mixed in air when rain occurs these gases mix in rain and forms nitric acid and sulphuric acid,thus causing acid rains
