The main cause of revolt of 1857 is that ,the pesent(farmer)were not able to pay the taxes.and the sipoy(soldiers)MANGAL PANDAY was the first rebellion against british for the "Suprier Weapons" means the weapons which had cleaned by the sipoy of india .in the spherecial shape of this Weapon has the muscles of cow and pig,so the sipoys were the revel of the EAST INDIA COMPONY (it means that british).
