Holy will be celebrated across the country today. Amid the rising number of coronavirus cases, the Centre, states and Union Territories have issued new set of guidelines to be followed, which requires people to strictly adhere to COVID norms in view of Holi festival. The country has been recording an increasing number of Covid-positive cases every day since the last week and experts fear a possible second wave hitting the country.

According to the new Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) released, many states have banned all private/public celebration of Holika Dahan & Rang Panchami to ensure safety of people amid Covid-19 pandemic. Strict action will be taken against offenders.
