Cell consists many organelles,yet we do not call any of these organelles as structural and functional unit of living organisms why

as cell is only structural and functional the organelles are also the same there is no need to explain that

It is because all the organelles that we talk about either it be mitochondria or ribosomes are contained within the cell itself.The reason why they are not called the STRUCTURAL AND FUNTIONAL UNIT OF LIFE is cuz they do not exist independently.Ribosomes are certainly not found anywhere outside the cell.
And even if we talk 'bout mithochondria,its history suggests that it used to be an independent organism, until it was engulfed by an animal cell.So the fact is that before it actually came into the cell,it was just useless for us.
Hence the organelles themmselves cant be called as the structural and functional unit of life.
