 Many cells are visible only under a microscope e.g., Mycoplasma is the smallest cell and longest cell in human body is nerve cell or neuron.

Cell size may range from a few micrometer to a meter. This is true because when taking examples as :-

1) Bacteria

The approximate size of bacteria varies around 0.5 to 2 micrometres.

2) Neuron cell

The neuron cells are as long as a metre.

3) Ostrich egg

The egg if the bird ostrich is the largest cell measuring to 15 centimetres.
