Animal do not have cell walls unlike plants and fungi whose cells are bound by a Cell wall made up of cellulose which keeps the shape of the cell intact.

That’s the reason why the animal cells are irregular in shape although animal cells also have a semipermeable membrane which filters out what goes in and out the cell.

Animal cells including humans, mammals, birds etc do not have cell wall. There is only one layer around animal cells called cell membrane or plasma membrane.

Unlike plant which have cell wall that provide them rigidity and shape, animals cells are less rigid and elastic. They have other structures like skeleton to maintain their shape.
