Cells are made up of atom but atoms are non living and cells are living?Why?

Yes its true that atoms are present in cells but the thing which makes a different is "Cytoplasm" which is a jelly like matrix in a cell which has many fundamental things like mitochondria etc makes a cell living.And is absent in atoms.
